What is drip irrigation?

Drip irrigation delivers water directly to plants' roots by slowly dripping water on the soil above the roots or right into the root zone. This is accomplished using a system of hose, drip tape and/or emitters.

Where Can I Use It?

Drip irrigation can be used in the garden, on the lawn or for your flowerbeds & pots. We have extensive experience using drip irrigation in our commercial truck garden to grow tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cantaloupe, watermelon, squash, green beans, lettuce, eggplant, okra ... I think you get the picture.

Is A Drip Irrigation System Hard To Set Up?

No! With the right parts (we have a guide for that) you will be able to set up your very own drip system in a matter of a few minutes. And once you have the system set up, watering is a breeze.

Benefits of Drip Irrigation

Use less water!

Drip irrigation waters only where your plants need it.

Fewer weeds!

Putting the water only where plants are growing means less water for weeds to grow in between.

Spend less time watering!

No more worrying about moving sprinklers or hand-watering. Using drip tape allows you to simply turn them on and turn them off later.

Use less fertilizer

If you use fertilizer, drip systems allow you to get the fertilizer (dissolved in the water) directly to the roots. No residue on your food. No runoff from sprinklers washing it away.
